The Pellcroft Typhoon TKG range of propane gas burning heaters are of stainless steel and chrome construction, with a sturdy steel box section mounting frame designed to give many years of trouble free service.

Each heater is adjustable and can be raised or lowered to direct the heat into the fan inlet to suit single or multiple fan applications. 

The control panel is detachable and can be mounted either side of the unit or in other positions in the fan house.

The controls give a digital readout of humidity or temperature depending on the purpose it is being used for, i.e. grain drying, onion drying or frost protection.

The Pellcroft Typhoon TAB Portair range of mobile fans are primarily used fir drying smaller parcels of grain, oil seeds and pulses: oftern stored in bins, the drying of baled hay and the ventilation of potatoes, onions and flower bulbs.

Typhoon TLV range of portable low volume aeration fans:

Low volume ventilation systems are most commonly used to control the temperature in 'dry' stores where the grain has already been dried down to the desired moisture content.

They are, therefore, not designed to reduce grain mositure content, but are used to blow cooling air through stored grain in order to prevent deterioration through overheating.

Nevertheless, grain stored at moisture levels of up to 20% can be stored safely for a significant period of time, if the ventilation system can provide an adequate flow of air, which will enable the temperature within the stored grain to be reduced to a level which will prevent sprouting, mould growth and insect activity.

The Pellcoft Typhoon Levelair Drive Over Floor has been tried and tested over 35 years for the drying and storage of grain, rape, potatoes and onions.

Typhoon Levelair floor grids are the ideal solution where below-floor laterals are required, to allow an unobstructed floor area in the crop store for access by lorries and other traffic.

Two lengths are available, the Levelair Mk2 which will withstand the loads of normal road vehicles, and the Levelair HD, a heavy duty version for use where loading with industrial loaders is proposed.  Both versions can be supplied with grain covers or potato/onion covers as required.

The Levelair grids consist of a welded steel framework, with a high quality dipped paint finish on which is welded a louvered or expanded steel cover.  The Levelair HD uses a deeper and heavier section framework, but is otherwise identical.

Non-standard Levelairs can be manufactured to suit specific installations.  Details on request.

The Typhoon 'TC' range of centrifugal fans incorporate many years of experience in the design and manufacture of fans for the drying and conditioning of grain, potatoes and onions.

The Typhoon Stirrer System improves the efficiency of ALL bulk drying stores and features:

The Typhoon Stirrer System is designed to operate in floor stores, moving grain more evenly through its total depth.

It improves drying speeds and quality of the crops by drawing the crop along the entire length of the auger, removing the risk of compacting and capping of the crop. 

A controlled high heat can be applied to improve drying rates by up to 50%.  The auger movement through the crop cleans the surface of the grains/seeds for an improved sample and totla mixing through the depth of the crop.
